Having a maintenance plan for public services networks in the cities brings benefits for the affiliates, the underground infrastructure sector and the cities, as soon as the needs are established, the precise solutions are implemented with the use of our technologies and make good use of the economic resources of taxes of Colombians.
"Buried Asset Management" it refers to how to manage the public service networks that we have installed in the cities and how to have a city vision that allows us to do the re-engineering to redesign some main networks based on the projected growth and the new POT.
The good practices of buried asset management are aimed at:
- Maximize the value of the life cycle of assets.
- Sustain economic development
- Protect public health
- Improve the environment
- Improve Life Quality.
The program was designed among others by the Universities of Indiana-Purdue, Virginia and Louisiana Tech who joined to form BAMI-I with whom we have been working since 2016. The next step is to disseminate, promote, train and promote research in our country.
